This song was written and recorded by my late father. I tried to cover it but my singing leaves a lot to be desired. Sorry. Its also not my usual genre of music so its quite a bit stiff.

It wasn't bad at all. I thought it was good. I think you have (at least) one string out of tune on the strumming parts. Tune up and do it again.

thnx I'm glad you liked it. Your right about the tuning I need to take the time to replace the strings. I have 10 sets (thnx Guitar center big sale weekend) setting on the desk but have been to lazy. I'll restring and try it again.

Swallace1, Ye Haw!! Sounds good, you should have been on the TV show \"looking for the next Country Star\" or someting like that--its the American Idol equivalent. Anyway, tune up, try it again. Speaking of Guitar Center--I do miss them after leaving Texas. Last big sale I got 10 sets of strings for $25. Ahhh, the good ol days. The best sale I've seen here, which is not much of a sale, was 4 for $20. Regular price 5.50. Maybe I'm just cheap, no wait, on a hell of a budget. Gas just hit $4.10/gal here. Guess where my money goes.

Thanks I will try it again after the HUGE \"honeydo list\" the wifey has me doing. What part of Texas did you live in? I used to (many years ago) Live in Whitesboro and Tyler. And also 10-4 on the gas situation. I want to buy a motorcycle to save gas but can't afford it because of the gas in the other vehicles! Kind of a catch-22!! Again thanks.
