USB question

I just installed XP on an older PC so I could run some recording software and GNX X-Edit. For X-Edit, Does it make a difference if the computer has USB 2.0 or is 1.0 ok? the recording software is an older version of Cubase.

It doesn't make a difference because the GNX USB is only 1.1 - you can have 2.0 but there won't be a performance improvement.
