GNX4 Member Music :: Favorite Music???

Hey all forum members, I have a question about the GNX4 Member Music: Favorite Music section? Why hasn't that changed in months? Is it locked out or something? Some of those tracks are from 3-4 years ago. I've voted for several new member songs but they just don't seem to make that list. Anyone know anything about it?
Thanx guys......

  • I would guess that it's because people haven't been voting as much recently. Probably since the forum changeover.
  • Ok I'm pretty new here.....so what forum changeover? And how did the changeover effect the voting system? And is this going to be corrected or does it need to be corrected? Sorry for the confusion, but just trying to figure out what you mean....thanx
  • Mmmmmm guess nobody knows, even the Moderators???

    Thanks.............
  • guitarworkstation.com is a relatively new site. Prior to it coming into existence, soundcomm was used as the message board for GNX units. As I said, my guess is that since fewer people spend time on soundcomm (post song/patch, or download song/patch, and dip) fewer take the time to use the voting system.

In fact, since most songs are hotlinked to the MP3 file on this board, I'd guess most users don't even see the soundcomm page.
  • Ok iliace thanx.....that makes a little more sense now, but I think that the system could use a little improvement. Because there are musicians that will post a song on Soundcomm and never come to this forum. Basically the forum is just a place to announce your track and provide a link. If you only just come to the forum, like I've been doing, then you miss new tracks on Soundcomm.
Which brings me back to my original post. I still think there is something wrong with the \"Favorite music list\". Because I'll vote for a track that's already on the list and the rank doesn't ever change. I think it's dead and no one noticed :lol: Anyway iliace thanks for taking the time to respond.
