...and one of my cover bands.

This is my most recent project - so recent in fact that it doesn't have a name or a web site yet. But, we do have a six-song demo in the works.

Anyway, here are some videos from an exhibition performance at a house party, back in February. The video files are huge and some of the videos are kind of short, but it's watchable - though you might have brighten your monitor.

Guitar - me

There's also a guest singer in one of the songs, who is now a permanent part of the group. Her name is Stephanie.

    I have no idea how... let me look into it though. Bassist's girlfriend made these, I just copied the files...

    The problem is that Digitech won't host any of the content. We would basically need to create a section where users can upload content to other sites, then link them. Let me see what I can swing here...

    I hope this doesn't come out the wrong way, but I checked out the crazy train vid. Were you playing the lead in the wrong key? It sounded out to me. It sounded like it was lower on the fretboard than normal.

    I got a few of those, \"hey, did you even practice any of those songs?\" comments. The answer is no :oops: I was in key for parts of it, but many of the bends were off, and taps in the last tappy part were misplaced simply because I had no idea where I was going.

    Agreed. Sorry for having fun at your expense. For a private-house party, it sounded terrific. Good singer, the bassist is really tight, and you were poorly lit enough that the only thing TO do was listen to you wail :lol: . Sorry. :lol: . But I thought it was good rockin'. The only downside is I couldn't find the one with \"Stephanie\" in it. Is she hott??? :twisted:

    Steph is a slim, petite black girl. She's cute - nice body and all. Beautiful voice. Looks good on stage. No, you cannot have her number. Here's a picture though:

    Yes, very cute...but no-where NEAR as hott as the girl in my current little group, who's not only drop-dead hott, sings like an angel, and has a name from Greek mythology.

    Thanks for the vote of confidence. The solo was fine, but I would have liked to have pulled it off how I heard it in my head. That's always the trick isn't it? :lol: I got some comments afterwards (from hardcore Ozzy fans of course) that if you're going to do Crazy Train, the solo should be as good as or better than the original - so that's my next challenge, if we play that one again.

    Consent is a funny thing. The picture I posted is from the girl's MySpace - she has no idea it's up here, or that there's a copy of it on 44lbs.net. I figure, she already has it online, so that's all the consent I need. If she has a problem with that, she can come say it to my face (she's already learned that usually that doesn't go well for her). Plus it's not a bad picture.

    As for the Crazy Train solo - I have some cool ideas for skipping around with the tapped arpeggios. I just want to make sure I work in some of the \"key elements\" of the original solo, and sometimes when you're jumping 8 frets while tapping something, it can be difficult to smoothly work a slower line into the thing. Once I can pull off that solo the way I play it slowly, I think even the most hard-core Rhoads fanatics will be appeased.

    That's the thing - she's been to Nashville, recorded there, done the whole management/publicity thing...so it's not like she isn't used to her pic being seen. But...I still don't think it's OK unless she says it is, since it's her pic...
