Would this be total sacrilege?
I am the original owner of a Kustom Model 410-SC amp that my folks bought for me circa 1970. I've recently gotten the tube amp bug, and have thought about getting a new tube head, but the only cabs I have are a Marshall 4-10 cab and my cab with 2 Eminence 12's. So I've been looking at this Kustom that I hardly ever use due to its size and the fact that it is a totally clean sound, no distortion at all, and I'm thinking, should I make that into a cab for a tube head. The cab has the original silver centered speakers, which I believe are JBL's, but I can't find any real data on what they are. They are maked as 8 ohms, and are wired to produce an 8 ohm load (2 16 ohm series wired in parallel) If I did cut the thing up, I would likely removed the tuck and roll and recover in tolex, and have a separate head with the amp. I don't find these Kustoms to be selling for rmuch, and, of course, shipping would be outrageous, so is it cool to make a cab out of this old combo amp? And, oh yeah, the way it is now, it works great with the GNX4, but since it isn't stereo, I just don't use it.

its too easy to just make your own cabinets and configure them however you like
