Mangling The Classics #13

This is a re-do of a mangling I did a while back. Since I'm (marginally :roll: ) better at various musical abilities, I thought I'd take another crack at it. I didn't do any KB's, too lazy; just threw this together in about 10 minutes. Used my Dean ac/el, a Berhinger dyn mic, and did the entire thing - including mix :oops: - on my GNX.

Hey Shred cool to see you giving it another crack! Never give up keep on trying! & improving that's an awsome Sprit to have & I strive to have as well!! You know maybe someday I will actually be O.K. if I don't give up & keep going! 8) You know all I can do is give my best & leavr the rest up to the Lord, & that's what I try to do. Anyhow sorry to go on & on! I think this sounded very clean! Maybe a Tad to much verb or whatever on the Vocals? I think the Vocals at spots are to low. I think the Vocal is O.K. maybe a little high for you at spots? Did you ever concider doing the song in a lower key? That may help? Anyhow good attempt bro!! Keep at it! 8)

Vocal range is a never-ending issue for me; I have a pretty low voice to be doing rock or pop-style music. I often capo my git'r just to play a song in a range I can hit.
But even then, my high to low range is often not enough, so I'll strain for the highs or boom the lows.
Add to that my misfortune of having a singing voice that sounds like Gilbert Godfried and Fran Drescher had a love child, and, well...
That'll be my opening line for live shows. \"Sorry about my singing voice, but that's what I sound like\". :oops:

PS the vox purposely have a lot of phase-shifter added, as that's how it was done on the acoustic version of this song I heard back when I was young like 'hoot. That, and my voice isn't good enough to sing \"clean\". :oops:

Cool Shredd, I actually like the vocal fx you added. Maybe you could add a second guitar and play arpeggios instead of just strumming the chords.

All in all I liked it 8)

Nice work for a ten min redo, I say less effect on the voice cause you can hit the note and make it our own.

The difference is you only pay for the guitar ONCE. :shock:

So, you can relate to why I'd be very selective about women; whereas if you don't like a guitar, you just pass it on to someone who does. Try doing that with a wife who can't stand you anymore. :shock:
