Cool 8) I'm all stoaked up as well! I've just ordered a 212 cab from loboline, also a Swamp Thang speaker to complment the mod 12 speaker I already have on hand. I will most likely wire the cab paralell for 4 ohm & go back to using the Valve Jr. Live? Anyhow congrats on the Bass!

That's a tasty l'il rig 'cfs. I'm sure you'll enjoy it! I've been very stoked on bass playing since I got my Peavey Grind (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Peavey-Grind-Bass-4-BXP-NTB-Electric-Bass-Guitar?sku=511363). In fact, I'm haaving a really \"bad\" G/A/S year, and have acquired and/or upgraded a lot of stuff. Still haven't gotten my Ibanez quite right yet though. :evil:
So, jam away and post us some stuff so we can hear what it sounds like! 8)

I've been outta control. Thanks heavens (?) I don't have a wife to explain all this stuff to. In the last 12-18 months or so, I've gotten my Peavey bass, a bass preamp, power amp, dbx compressor for it, and a 1x15 and a 2x10 cab; I've gotten my Tascam 2488 8) (awesome); upgraded my Behringer mixer to the next one up; gotten two BBE Sonic Max'rs; upgraded my studio mon's to Behringer 2031a's (also awesome); put bux into the Ibanez to prepare it to replace my Jackson; got a new vocal mic; and a DT BP200 for the bass, which I rarely use since I most often use my GNX4 and presets for the bass. Cables, a new capo...oh gawd, must I go on?!?

Great looking bass. Awesome reviews too. I have a nice 5 string Yamaha that really sounds great. Problem is, I am still learning how to play my 4 string Kramer bass. My 5 string looks great, but the 5th string never gets touched by me. Oh well, I hope you are more talented than me and get that low string thumping. Great buy. Best wishes.
