Hello, I just purchased a VX400
Is there a forum for this product? or is this the right one?

I installed x-edit 1.21 and my pc sees it and the drivers, but when I start x-edit, it says it \"unable to open usb midi ports\"
Please help

As far as USB Midi for X-Edit, I would make sure that it's enabled in your Sound and Audio Devices (Control Panel section). Try rebooting your PC with Vx plugged in and turned on. Also, X-Edit 2.3 is now available, and it should work with Vx400 - it's probably easier to configure, but then again I haven't tried for that particular unit.

Make sure that you are using the same USB port that you used when you first installed the drivers. The VX400 is very funny about that. You must use the same USB port everytime with the VX400
