Help with Expression pedal

With my GNX3

SO Im trying to make the expression pedal work the Whammy. But I dont want the whammy on the whole time. Is there a way to turn it off and use the expression for just the wah or just volume, then turn the whammy back on when needed?..thanks!

Use the V-switch. Turns the wah on n off. You can assign parameters to the e/p, as you see fit. RTM.

You can assign the fifth footswitch to toggle whammy on/off.

Do I assign the whammy pedal to \"exp pdl 1\" or 2?

Usually just 1, unless you already have something else assigned. In most cases you want the whammy pedal to control just the whammy pedal, but in some instances it might be convenient to assign EXP PDL 2 and 3 to something like stompbox tone or compressor gain - this way you can further shape the tone as the whammy kicks in.
