Violin Solitary Ballad

Hi, I just registered on here today and this is my first post

While poking around I noticed somebody asking about a good violin sounding patch so I decided to upload this little thing I made a while back.
Basically was trying to make my guitar sound like a violin. Its not very long and I just improvised it as I went. Its supposed to sound sad. Let me know what you think! !!

I thought the violin patch was pretty cool. Than again, I'm into the trippy stuff...theere's quite a variety of git'rists here, including lots of headbangers and metalheads...but I thought it was cool. 8)

Thanks Shredd, Im into wierd sounding stuff too, I primarily play different types of metal and make wierd synth and soundscape type stuff, usually kinda industrial sounding. But on the other hand I love classic rock like Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Def leopard, Dokken ect. 80's man 8)

That is awesome. I like the peculiar, but this is not just original, very emotional and well thought out. It almost sounds like it's back masked at times. Very nice.

Hey Thanks man its nice to be complimented. I find that its easiest to make stuff up when you try to portray a certain emotion or color.

Oh and Ill have to listen to that Dire straits song as Ive never heard it before
