My feeble attempt to sound heavy...not very tight and I suck at the bass...drums are lame but don't have any decent software yet for the drums.

PS loved the 'backing track' cut on your page...I'd love to d/l it and play over it, but I can't d/l from soundclick. :?

Sounded cool, like the leads.

My only advise would be to maybe double track the rythm guitar, it sounded a bit thin almost Line 6 like.

I think you met Slash bro? I thought the Rythem sounded tight & fine not to thin. I met I agree your lead playing is what made it for me. I liked it!! Good job man!! Keep posting stuff 8)

Although I thought I would share My 5 year old Son was on my lap listening & he sure like the Rythem!! 8) It stuck in his head He was going Dun Dun da Dun Dun da Dun Dun Dun da Dun Dun Dun da Dun Anyhow that was a catchy little Rythem But I was saying without the lead parts well it would have been repetive. I almost could of saw one more tangent at the end to bring it home. 8)

I really need some good drum tools to get more creative though...the drum sim in the 3K is cool...but doesn't allow for much tweaking.

I think that if I could get something like EZDrummer or something...I could start working on something solid instead of doing all these clips with trashy mistakes...that really go nowhere...

I tried Hydrogen...it's free, and fairly programmable, but the sound quality isn't near what the GNX's have. :?

It just comes down to personal taste I guess

I really liked the sound you got out of this.
the guitar riffs sound live and very clean.

i have a gnx 3k.
can you tell me what patch you recorded the track with, and if you put any extra effects on when recording.
