NEW SESSIONS IN PROGRESS... Greetings from Satriani Central Command Headquarters, or, \"the studio\" as we like to call it. Today is the first day of recording for the next album release due in April '08. Joining me this time are engineer/co-producer John Cuniberti, drummer Jeff Campitelli, bassist Matt Bissonette, multi-instra-mentalist Eric Caudieux, Zen Master Mike Manning and Mysterious Mike Boden, who shaved his head for the project! There is no working title for the project as of yet... suggestions are always welcome... Joe

    yay! what happened to stu? i saw joe this year in austin, and it was a new bass guy and not eric on guitar. the bass guy was way way out of his league.

    I don't know how much he practices every day. I bet it is a full day though.
    I read he practices a song prior to a live show, 20 times through from start to finish... and if he makes a mistake, he starts the evolution over from no.1.

    He's a master at expression with the guitar. I'm also suprised at his set up. ALL STOMPS.... Sometimes I wish I didn't give all that stuff away :cry: :evil:

    dang theres a bunch of you tube on him and I suppose others. I'll have to spend some time checking that stuff out. Yeah right....as a single father of 4 I don't have much free time.

    First I've heard you are on your own with your children. I'm only on the Chatter forum most of the time
    ...but I read the other forums, enough to keep up.
    I always look for your posts, and I'm glad you find enough time to keep in touch.

    Yup it looks like my house....only that one is CLEANER :shock: :shock:

    I do get to look at the computer every once in a while.. being a father of 4 boys is a lotta work but it's VERY fun also.
