Impressive perfomance...high quality sound and really nice theme.
Acoustic sounds were excellent,quality reverbs and good dynamics.

Thanks guys. I'm now using the MBox Pro 2 Firewire from Digidesign with Pro Tools 7.3 and the pro software bundle. The Steel string was mic'ed with a condensor through a Nady Tube pre-amp. The Classical was plugged directly in. I used a BBE sonic maximizer (one of the greatest audio effects of all time, in my opinion 8) ) on both.

Gregory, if I may, what version of Pro Tools do you use? Was it a big set back on the wallet? And (one last question for now) do you record directly from the GNX4 to Pro Tools? Sorry about the crapload of questions it's just I would love for the quality of my stuff to sound at least close to as good as yours. Thanks man...keep rockin'.

Pro Tools software does not interface all I/Os. I plug all my stuff into the Mbox 2 Firewire interface. You can find out about compatible interfaces at

Check it out 8) I'm using software version 7.3 - it looks like 7.4 is out now. This recording was recorded @ 24 bit, 44.1k.
