In-SANE. The really amazing thing is that he looks like he's not even breaking a sweat.
If I could play like that, LinLoh would be slipping me her room key. 8)
Ya, I'm not jealouse either... I know what you mean...When I first started out i played alot o that...
2 handed multi fingered tapping and lightning fast perfectly phrased kinda stuff but after a while I found it boring and just settled on the 3 chords and one lame blues scale I know today. This lack of fretting knowlege I firmly beilieve has made me the hugely popuar entertainer I am today.   LOL!! 8)

Yeah, right, that's exactly my story. Yeah, that's it...
Hey Guys - been away for a while, hope ya all well.
Woah this guy is great! He must spend like 5 or 6 hours a day sittin on his butt playing a guitar - what an unfourtunate life!!
They made some interesting comments on the youtube site about his tone, style etc. His tone kinda reminded me of Greg Howe at first - sort of a mellow fluid tone that sustains nicely but doesn't have heaps of gain. But I guess you don't need a stack of gain when your technique is all sorted - the ultimate quest for all of us! This guy seemed to go through his whole repotoire of licks and tricks - what the hell was that fast scale run down the neck where he was using his thumb?? Freaky! I haven't seen that sort of thing before.
Yep I'm pretty impressed. Nice to hear someone get it right - there's a lot of practice hours there in what that guy played. Ace! 8)
My friend owns an Yngwie strat. I played it, and it took some getting use to. But I soon found that bends are incredibly easier, and I actually found that I sounded cleaner on other parts.
My one concern was that I have a tendency to fret a note too hard. But, I figured learning on a scalloped guitar would help overcome this tendency. I had 2 choices, either buy an Yngwie strat, or scallop my existing strat, which would save me a grand. I scalloped it and have NEVER regretted my decision. I love it.
There are some pics of the scallop job in this thread:

Speachless.
That was Amazing.
Sure did. Never played on a scalloped neck so I dont know what it does for you.

Nice Job Ed! Looks beautiful! I'd love to try playing something like that sometime.
