Newbie here, looking for backing tracks, etc.......
Hi all,
I'm an old fart (49) and not a good player, but WTF it's fun anyway.
Although I've owned my GNX-4 for over a year, life's difficulties have kept me from spending significant time with it.
I'm finally at a place where I can have a minimal computer based setup, something I've been looking forward to for a long long time. Time to hit the manuals and learn more about this thing and how to use it.
I'm using an 80's era \"The Strat\" into the GNX-4 with a Mac Mini and a Peavey Nashville 400 amp.
Please help me to get started with some backing tracks or anything else that can help me over the learning curve. I'm a medium experienced player, nothing fancy, rhythms and some simple leads. I'm mainly into blues, hard rock, and metal (but most metal is over my head), SRV, Rush, AC/DC, Sabbath, whatever isn't toooo fast
I can play Malmsteen in my head but my fingers just don't get it!
Thanks for any help.
Allan

Here is a site you can download all the Blues, Jazz, and Rock you want for free. The site is up right now...but it goes down and then back up periodically, so you just keep after it, until you get all the tracks you want. I downloaded quite a few...actually...I was a hog at the trough. :? :P
