What about loyality?
I've had my GNX3000 ever since it got relased on the market and was very surprised about the sound quality. It sounds awesome and because of the small size it fits right in my home studio - And i really like the option for inputting balanced signal in the signal path. Unfortunately its not all that is great about the GNX3000. As it has turned out in my case, the GNX3000 is only great in a studio and worthless in most Live situations because of the long patch changing time and even more, because of the weird sounds everytime i try to use the TAP-tempo for my delay. This sounds really horrible.
I could really use som new equipment, with as good in sound as the GNX3000 and with the same IO options but even more, a unit that would also work flawless in any Live situation.
Does any knows of any unit that delivers what i seek?
Would any one of you dare to suggest me being loyal enough to buy the new DigiTech GSP1101, knowing that DigiTech hasn't even released any firmware update for the GNX3000 in all of its lifetime addressing these known problems with patch shifting and TAP-Tempo related digital distortion sounds?
Kind Regards,
Nicolai Bob
BTW - Why isn't the GNX3000 supported by the X-Edit v2?

I just assumed that the GSP1101 supported the Warp feature as well and that a version 2 would have at least all the same features as X-Edit version 1. Thx for the clarification iliace :-)
It's hard not to be second guessing the level of expected support for new product with annoying issues like digital glitches when using the TAP-Tempo switch. I now know that i shouldn't have trusted the otherwise good name of Digitech. I bought the GNX3000 unheard, just on the specs, which i only dared to do because i prior to the GNX3000 had an GNX4.
But when it all comes out in the wash, they shoulda worked together to make it happen. My sympathies to all you Vista Victims...
Same growing pains when they came out with XP.
MS gave everyone HUGE advance knowledge they were coming out with a new OS. Some Companies got on board right away, and worked with MS.
If we play any blame game...Companies like Digitech need to take the blame where it clearly lays.
I bought a new laptop last Spring with Vista. Took it back within 2 days, and came home with a business class laptop with XP Pro. Vista waters are much calmer now...but you do see clearly who deserves any \"loyalty.\"
Go where the service and customer support is.
