I've taken lots of factory presets, tweaked them to my liking, and use them often.
But..I also have a number of patches that I've built myself that I really like.
I also have some faves that I downloaded from the patch forum at DT and then tweaked to my liking.
So I've got a little of everything. Except the undying adoration of Cameron Diaz.
All she'd need to to do is hear those sweeeet tones you're putting out and she wouldn't have chance :!:
Yeah, you'd think that'd do, it wouldn'tcha?
I have a coupla patches I think are just awesome, and they're ones I tweaked or created myself. I'm particularly prooud of the one I created to play RUSH's Xanadu, it's just primo. I also have some other RUSH patches which are great, and a handful I made for other sounds I like - chorus-y delayed stuff, a really primo Twin Reverb patch with lots of killer variables built in.
I also have a handful of signature sounds that I d/l'd and tweaked to fit my gear and my ear - the git'r sound of the Cure's Sanctuary, that fat chorus-y Boston sound, a killer Eric Johnson patch. I also love the factory JC-120 patch and the RifMatic one, both of which I tweeked to my liking and get lots of use.
One of the things I love about my GNX4 is that the variables are nearly limitless when it comes to tone-shaping. You can adjust anything, and adapt it to any insturment; I even use it when I play bass. There's a lot of modelers/multiFX/etc out there that have limitations on what they can do, or simply features that're missing you'd really like to have.
And yet Drea de Matteo still won't go out with me. ARGH.

I voted 50/50. More accurately it would be 35/40/25.
Factory/Members/Mine
The one I use the moist is mine.
Under oath...I mainly practice dry.

I'd take Lucy Liu over Cameron Diaz unless they wanna tag team. :P
The old \"ham sandwich\"!....
Little slapping around heats her up every time.
Too much preset tweakin' can cause premature protestation.
So I'll have Lucy stop by and slap you around some. Meanwhile, I'm gonna find me a nice cuddly babe. Is LiLo out of rehab yet?
An interesting typo
I have been inspired by other presets, but then gone on to make my own from the framework of existing ones.
