2 modulation effects at once?????

Comments

  • I was checking that exact MFX out and it really looks amazing. Thoas far as your question, I don't know.

If it did allow 2 mods, that would just be too* kick ass!
  • I'm not sure if Amplitube allows 2 mod effects at the same time. I've heard very good things about Amplitube. I think this floor controller would be a complete necessity if your using Amplitube. However, IMHO, knowing how temperamental PC's and laptops are, I would be very leery of relying on one of them in a live situation. For recording, it would be cool. My PC frequently reminds me that it hates me, so I don't want it as part of my live rig.
  • Yes, the computer part of it is definitely a downside, I agree.

Doesn't Amplitube let you put as many \"pedals\" as you want in a chain? If it has more then a few simulated \"mod\" pedals it better be able to run 2 at once! That would just be-low if you couldn't!

    It does.
  • Why do you really want 2 mod effects??? With the gnx4 you could have detune and a mod - which is effectively 2 different mod effects.
  • Speakin' for myself? I like using a chorus almost all the time...and I like to throw in some phaser or flanger sometimes. Gimme a break, I listened to rock n roll in the 80's.
  • Maybe one of you guys with Digitech's ear could ask them to give us the option off the expression pedal.
    Don't V-switches have assignable capacity?

Some chorus with a hint of tremolo, or phaser and trem would be
just perfect for me to get that \"'Bee Gee's\" sound I miss so much.
    :? ....cof cof...snif

And you could put your gonads in a vice grip for the vocals...

  • Chorus and phaser on at the same time would be pretty nice.
  • Get a GSP2101 or 2112 or 2120 and you can run 4 mod effects at once

Thass what I'm sayin'. I love chorus, but I'd love to be able to add a shimmer of phaser or flanger, or even use IPS, at the same time.
If I could afford a GSP, I'd just hire VH to play my birthday party.
  • :lol::lol::lol::lol:
four modulations...now what numbnuts would want or need such a thing?

Cripe sake...even the Bands Harmonica player could easily drown you out!
  • The GNX will let you somewhat run (2) mods via detune in teh pitch section and whatever you want in the Modulation section. You can add an LFO to teh detune parameters as well as another LFO to volume pre or post to make it vibrato like, etc. Can mess that signal up a lot wit dem LFO's...

Oh you can do much more than that with 2101. You can run them in series, parallel, combinations... you can insert submixers along the signal path... basically it allows you to simulate a world-class rig, within the limitations of the physical memory. I think that's one of the best-conceived Digitech products ever... too bad it was so complicated to program for a casual user. The \"sample program\" diagrams are overwhelming if you don't understand each component.
