Collab Song - The Great Commission

I did this song in SoundClick as a collab song. I had one taker to the background music I created using Kinetic 2. That person offered a really great guitar solo. Being that we all share our music I also decided to use some cuts from a song that Kirk Bauer did a while back.

I play the first guitar, Bauer the second guitar (a cut from his song) and a collab friend from SoundClick plays the third guitar. There are a couple of acoustic strums in the beginning and end that I threw in just to add some variety. I hope you enjoy this mix. Comments are always appreciated.

This was done using Sonar Producer Edition, Acid Pro, Sound Foundry Sonic Forge and Wave Lab Essentials.

  • Hey John not Bad at all!! Sounded real good & clean. Love that middle section were Kirk plays! At least I think that's him sounds like his stuff 8) This song may be a Tad long? & a Tad busy? Not much just a little. I'm not totally sold on the dance club beat & changing back & forth between sections? Maybe a little extreme? Anyhow good job bringing this all together into one fine sounding piece!! Like the effects & such & the Acoustic you added at the begining & bring back in at the end works well 8)
  • Partch, Thanks for the compliments. Kirk guitar makes this song along with some of his sound effects. This song started as a Kinetic 2 drum groove and I only put it together by using the talants of others and some of myself as well. It's all about the love for creating new musical arrangements. The entire forum is the band and we just help each other out from time to time. Feel free to help yourself to anything I have posted, it all free and offered with joy. Glad you liked the song. It is a busy piece, but that is what I was looking for and that was what I created. It was #1 on the SoundClick charts for Christian Rock. Thanks for listening. John
