MG100HDFX AND A HEIL TALKBOX

Hi:
I bought a talkbox some days ago, but I'm not sure how to connect it to my MG100HDFX amp and my GNX4. Im lost right now... Any ideas???

    I do believe that it acts like a stompbox. Therefore add it before the gnx/amp in the chain.
    I am not familiar with the talkbox (never used one in my life)

    I tried to make it work today by plugging the cable that is coming out from the amp head to the input of the talkbox, and the output of the talkbox to the speaker cabinet. I also used a lame amp for the mic. No sound was coming out at all, but when I pressed the switch in the talk box I could hear the sound of the guitar but no talkbox sound, then again pressed the switch and no sound at all again. Perhaps Im doing something wrong or the talkbox is broken... Any ideas???

    the guitar comes out of the talk box tube, you put it in your mouth and get close to a mic through a Pa to get the talk box sound.

    Plug your guitar into the input of the talkbox, and then the output of the talkbox into the input of the amp. Basically the talkbox is inbetween your amp and guitar.

    DO NOT plug the speaker outputs of the amp into the talkbox, it will destroy it.
