Got G/A/S? Me too. So I have stuff for sale...
Hey kids - I've recently succumbed to a nasty bout of G/A/S, so I'm going to put some of my current gear up for sale, if anyone here wants it. Good gear, low bux. All have the original boxes, manuals, etc. Otherwise I'll go the eBay route. I have:
A pair of Nady MC-8 passive speakers. Details here: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Nady-MC8-2Way-Speaker?sku=609014. They're 4 ohms and they've been my studio monitors and also what I play my GNX thru, including my bass and KB. They've got nice FR/FR and take tons of power, and can be pretty loud if needed. They are also good to use for FOH cabs in those small venues I never play, mainly 'cuz I hate it when I ask a woman to have a drink with me and she laughs at me.
A Nady XA-300 rack-mount stereo power amp. Details here:http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Nady-XA300-Stereo-Power-Amplifier?sku=482059 This is a surprisingly loud, tough and clean-sounding amp, considering how cheap it is. It powers my Nadys (above) perfectly, as the power output of the amp (2x150 @ 4ohms) is exactly what the MC-8's are rated. That's why I bought them all together. The only thing I'd diss this amp for is the variable-speed fans, which are noisy in a quiet studio. I just put the rack in the closet, and it never bothered me.
I also have a pair of Furman Q1331 single channel 31-band EQ's. Rack mount, selectable voltage, ground lift. Each has bypass, 6dB/12dB range switch, hi and lo cut controls, and level controls. Inputs and outputs are 1/4\" balanced, XLR, or RCA unbalanced. Will sell the pair only.
And if anyone wants to buy my Behringer 1202FX mixer, I've got my eye on the next one up from it. 8) Mine is identical to this except it's silver, & no USB port. It's the pre-Xenyx version. http://www.behringer.com/1202FX/index.cfm?lang=ENG
SO...I'm looking to sell any or all. I'll make ya a good deal and shipping won't be too bad, 'cuz the amp is only 13 pounds and the cabs are only 15 lbs each. Mixer & eq's would be cheap, they're light.
Drop me a PM or post if you're interested. Otherwise, I'll see ya on eBay next month! 8)
