Clean Tones On MFX units

I was messing around with some of the clean amp presets the othernight, the ones with just the amp modelling on and no compression/fx/noisegate etc, and was very surprised to find that these are very good sounding and dynamic and feel like an actual amp.

I was playing the 65twin preset for a very long time lastnight.

I think Im gonna start using individual pedals with the clean amp models on my gnx3k and get my dist/od that way

All these units seem to model the clean amps great but fall short with the higain models imo.

    I recently happened on some guys' website that had some pointers on modeling on a GNX. So I printed it out, and started with his Blackfaace Twin Reverb model; made it all clean, saved it, then copied it and set it up with all sorts of kewl stuff you can stomp in - reverb, dely, coupla killer O/D's, chorus...and they instanty fell into my \"favorite patches\" category. The GNX can do ANYthing.
    Except find a woman who likes me... :cry::cry:
