Problem downloading patches

everytime i download a patch to Genedit i get a message saying the device recieved corrupt data, does anyone know how i can fix it?

First, make sure you have the latest version of GenEdit 1.61a which you can download from the digitech website, secondly, make sure that GenEdit is closed when you double click on the downloaded preset to open it.

Nope, still no luck.

I would recommend instead to open GenEdit first, then use File/Open function to get the patch.

Is this happening with all the patches you're downloading, or only certain ones?

As always, remember that the GNX & its' s/ware is incredibly ornery about exactly how it's installed. Follow it to the letter, and don't forget to ALways use the same USB port, and don't use a hub...
