Trouble with the USB of the RP 350

Hey I just bought the RP 350 digital processor and I'm having trouble getting my USB to be read by my windows XP HP laptop. The software I am trying to record on is Adobe Audition 1.5. If anyone could help me figure out why the USB wont work that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

  • Hi, I had problems at first, and it turned out I hadn't installed the drivers properly. If you have done that, then is the problem that your software won't recognise it, or that the computer itself doesn't?

  • I am 100% sure that the computer recognized my pedal however I am not sure if the adobe software recognized it. If that is not the problem though, what drivers are you talking about?

    Thanks
  • It's always about \"settings\". You coudl spend twenty hours and $500 bux on tech support, get no answers worth a dang, then find out you needed to click one button or move one slider or set one setting, and then everything's groovy. Sometimes it's' how somethings' installed, sometimes it's what program was running when another was started, when something was plugged in...frustrating. Don't give up! 8)
  • Thanks for the advice but I don't even know where to start with looking for the settings. Does any body know anything about the adobe audition software? Or do you guys think that the USB will only work with Digitech's specific software? The only thing is when I use the USB I can hear ther adobe audition through my amp. So its looping the audio out of adobe through my digitech processor but its not recording from my digitech to the computer...Weird.
  • sorry I didn't reply sooner to your question, I'm talking about the downloadable drivers from this site. He's right about the settings thing,, I'm not familiar with adobe, but it'll be a recording input that you'll be changing.
Let me know how you get on
