Many have often wondered. So does this help make sense?

  • Your a trip bro  I did not know you were in that commercial  Seriously though don't look like you at all
  • It's like they were seperated at birth.
So, the question of the ages remains: How Do I Hook Up With The Girl In His Avatar??? 8)
  • Shredd,
Do you EVER post WITHOUT a reference to chicks? Do you even realize how much you do it? Or is that your thing? Like your \"call sign\" It's cool either way... Just tryin' to get in yer head a bit is all...

The girl in his avatar is really just the bearded man in the left picture.... disguised.

Sadly, I'm all TOO aware of it. I live in a very small town that's 500 miles from anything, and the few single women around that are even remotely attractive are much more interested in their dogs than in the 1000 men that're chasing them around. :? So I'm a LIIIIIIITTLE starved for female companionship. (can ya tell?!?) If I didn't have the kewlest job in the world, I'd go live somewhere like Reno, where the chix hang out on the street. :D
Sooo...yeah, it's just a running joke, but it's a sad fact of life for me too. In fact, I just compiled a CD for my friends of the better of the crap I've posted here, and titled it \"Soundtracks For Daydreams\" (after the inspiration for the Tasha Trilogy)...I was going to name it \"Stuff I Spend My Time Doing Because I Don't Have A Girlfriend\", but it just doesn't have the same ring to it...
  • Shreddie-poo...this is Staci...

    She is dancing to \"In The Mood\" ...by Rush. :) 8) :? :P

  • Manitou has a sitcom on ABC???...(lucky SOB :x )

(AND, who else wants to contribute to the \"Buy Shredd a Russian Bride Fund\")
The commercials will be on latenite TV soon...\"Wont you help, only $1.38 a day wil provide Shreddy with a woman who cooks, cleans & services him to the point of exhaustion\"...
    :D
  • Manidog, I think you look every bit as smart as my therapist

I'll gladly contribute to Shredd's inflatable date fund :lol:
  • Ugh! I'm so tired of this... Shredd man, where do you live? I will personally come down there and find you some girls. i/o since you're around my neck of the woods, you should tag along.
  • I'm sure EVERYone is tired of it. Not HALF as tired as I am though!!!
So...if Iliace wants to come all the way out to rural WY to help me root out a woman who has all her teeth, less than five kids (by four fathers), and bathes more often than she (menstruates), then I'm all for it. Gawd knows I'm not going to attract any women with my git'r playing.
But I really love the idea of a telethon...\"$1.38 a day...\". We could show pics of me weeping over my git'r, while nasty fat chix and hott married women walk through the shot, and then cut to all those hott Russian women who'd love to meet a nice American guy like me. Or at least be able to buy a loaf of bread once in a while.
PS I wonder if I get Staci with the \"About Last Night\" dual-headphone thing???

    Wooooo Hooooo!!! ROAD TRIP :D

    Wooooo Hooooo!!! ROAD TRIP :D
Easy for you to say - you live in MD, just like Iliace! For me a road trip to hang with him would be about two weeks.
  • Anywhere near Casper or Cheyenne? Those two would be our best bet. But there are fairly large towns in any part of the state. That's where you target.
  • I always see lots of babes in Laramie...too.

But Shedd does have some tough competition.

    Grrr.jpg

    GRRRrrrrrrrr-rrRowl (Ooooh..you BEAST!!) :D
  • Laramie is where the Univ/WY is. Lots of teenage/20 girls there. That'd get me put in jail...not that I wouldn't LOVE a hott little teen girl...it's just sort of weird. I'm twice that old, plus a few...
As far as competing with that rugged beast 'tou shows...well, shoot, I don't have NEAR that much hair on MY chest!
No big cities around here, Iliace...Nearest town of any size is Cheyenne, about 7 hours away. That qualifies as an LDR. Denver is 9 hours. SLC is 5, but things are a little weird there. OK, a LOT weird...
My problem is both proximity, and lack of obnoxious aggressiveness. I'm not made of the stuff where I can convince a woman that she likes me. Maybe if I was a little more of a prik, I'd attract some women?
  • So you're pretty close to SLC, and you're not terribly far from Cheyenne.... I can triangulate that. It's not something we can't work with... I'm gonna cash out my vacation hours kinda soon, but I'm promised a good raise in a bit, so maybe we'll actually do this - get Shredd a girl! Everyone who is with me on that... let me hear a HELL YEAH!
  • Dude just come to Australia. Seriously this is ridiculous. There are plenty of australian women who love american men.
  • I have a major thing for Australian women. I'm DEFinitely thinking about it. Any tips, advice?
Yo Iliace - thanks for the effort. But I can't beleive you consider Cheyenne \"close\" Would you drive 7 hours for a date?!?

ANNNNYWAY...I get the picture. Everyone's sick to death of hearing about my lack of romance. I thought it was a good joke, a funny aside to the git'r goings-on here...but it's getting apparent that everyone's sick of it. So...I'll try to keep it out of my posts, stick to tech stuff and posting my wretched recordings. I doubt anyone's gonna be laughing THEN! (unless it's 'cuz they're laughing at my feeble studio efforts... )

Dude, don't be so hard on yourself... that's our job :lol::lol: . Also, your studio efforts are anything but feeble. Anyone who has the courage to put their stuff out there for public critique should be applauded 8)
  • Haah Haaah

    ....Doooh!

    ...wait a minute..
if anyone is going to be making personality improvements...
then I'm screwed. I'm already doing the Bestest I can.

Thanks dude...I appreciate that. If I weren't so dam sick of the isolation factor of my otherwise awesome job, I wouldn't be griping so much and mentioning it so often. Lacking real dates, I daydream a lot, so it's always on my mind. (Remember that, you married guys? ). So forgive me my obsession...if I had a lovely lady of my own, you'd never hear a thing from me but my not-quite-ODB/kbauer/cciello(s?)-quality recordings...
So...keep it up guys. Do your worst.

You mean it could be possible that something as irrelevant as personality could have anything to do with it???
  • Dude, don't be so hard on yourself...

Not sure if you meant that statement like it sounds, considering Shredd's predicament...
Hey, how do I get a inflate-a-mate fund for myself?

    Wait, the whole quote goes like;

Dude, don't be so hard on yourself... that's our job :lol::lol: .

Shredd, be afraid. Be very afraid. :lol::lol:

I mean, do you have a date closer? If not.... well, I hate to say this... so I won't. I've never been to Wyoming, but there's gotta be something else nearby... Casper? Salt Lake City? Denver? Something?
  • \iliace\ wrote:

    Cattle...
  • It's mostly mountains isn't it?
  • Not really...mostly High Chapperal...but where Shredd lives...and I am only guessing...Jackson area...its in the mountains. I travel route Hwy 80 and Hwy 25 a lot.

I keep meaning to stop at our Mother Ship in the Salt Lake City area...and go take lots of photos of Digitech. Get photos of the place and people that work there. Then post a few nice photos here.

Sandy, Ut. is right there off Hwy 80...and I've driven past Digitech quite a few times. What I need to do though...is drop my trailer at a Truck Stop, then Bobtail over one of these trips.

    I think nothing of driving a ways for a date...but hell I average 500-800 miles a day for work. I have a cast iron butt..hehehe. :P
  • But arent you a professional driver?

    4954497.gif Yep...Busted.

I am no one to talk about relationships.
I am a raging Loner, who lives in a Truck,
and keeps the love of his life, always at arms length.

    multicoloredpete_by_JOKER.gif

I am a Firefighter/EMT part-time (been active for 39 years, mostly as a Volunteer), and a retired Licensed Builder.

I'm driving now, because I am too young yet to be retired. (55)
I retired from my Construction Company after running it for 28 years...
and I now drive because I love it, and it was something
    I always wanted to do.

How about you Hootman? This time last year, you were a student.
Are you still doing that...or are you working?
