Tone Samples of 14 amps I've made so far..,.

I posted an mp3 of 14 tonesample to various types of amps I've made so far..It starts with a peavey 5150 then goes through some other amps...if anyone hears one they like just let me know what number it is in the mp3 and I'll post the patch...It's for a GNX 3 but if anyone wants them for a different model they can convert or I can tell them how to make it..I recorded them all with a strat directly into the line in on my soungcard..They sound much better through an amp..

  • Hey Steve WOW you ran the gammit there pretty good bro 8) I like them all They all sound great!! I have a GNX4 & a MFX Supermodel user so I have some great tone as well!! BUT I just wanted to say great job on that stuff :D
  • Thanks Partch I've been going nuts making amp sims..Rather than creating artist patch I just find out what gear they use and make the actual amps they use instead of getting their sound...I use the gnx as the amps pre eq I never change the settings on the gnx at all...I make all my amp sims to match whatever amp I'm making with all it's knobs set to 5( ie mids bass treb)...Then I can use my actual amp heads knobs to adjust and fine tune to the sound of the artist...Saves time don't have to keep going through the eq on the pedal and changing stuff...All my patches are set up this way...Lately I've been checking out different speaker tone sample so I can tune the cab sims correctly...I think so far I've got almost 175 Different amps made all together..The 14 I posted are just the first 14 I have stored on my gnx3...
  • Here's a list of some of the amps I've got made...

    MARSHALLS:

    1987 Plexi
    DSL 100
    MG
    Superlead
    Major Pa
    Master Volume
    Jubilee

    Jump
    Jcm 800, 900 , 2000
    TSL
    Mode Four

    FENDER:

    Twin Reverb
    Super Reverb
    Deluxe Reverb
    Vibroking
    Vibrolux
    Bass Man
    Vibroverb
    Custom SRV Mod Vibroverb

    LANEY

    VH1000
    GH100L
    TT50H , TT100H
    LX120H

    SOLDANO

    SLO100H
    Avenger

    BRUNETTI:

    059

    HUGHES & KETTNER

    Switchblade

    RIVERA

    Knucklehead

    ROLAND:

    Jazz Chorus

    CARVIN:

    PEAVEY:

    JSX
    5150
    5150 II
    Bandit
    Valveking

    BUDDA:

    Superdrive 80

And there's alot more....I use the actual schematics of the amp...find the tone stack section of the schematic draw it out in pspice then run a stimulater and it give's me all the frequncies to set up my pedal with...

All the amps sound almost identical to the original if I can figure out how to get to the hidden parameters of the patches I can make them much closer...But when I play my MG patch against my rhythm guitarist actual MG there is no difference between the two at all....
  • Great Job Steve!! & very well thought out process 8) Keep up the good work bro :D
  • That was quite some work you did there. Must have taken some time for sure. Enjoyed. Praise the Lord. Amen!!
