talker help

i'm trying to use the \"talker\" effect... i bought a cheap mic -nady sp1 just to try it out but can't get sound i've got the mic plugged into the mic input but when i turn on the talker effect my sound goes quiet and it looks like my mic has no power? any help?????

Your guitar will only make sound when there's sound coming into the microphone. This is a dynamic mic, so you might want to turn up the mic input level a bit. If you want to hear your voice as well as talker, set MIC output to Mic Dry - I think I remember that working, though I haven't used it for years.

hmmm.. i turned input all the way up... and nothing do i need to have the mic output plugge into something?

No mic output has nothing to do with anything. Have you confirmed that the mic does work? If so, how?

i think i got it.....works a little different than i thought how do you set the mic output to dry??
