Home Studios...Lets see them!
I know our home studio setups constantly change each year due to upgrades and new gear. So lets see what you got in your home studio this year so far. I'm sure its always a work in progress but post your pics anyway I'm sure alot of us would like to get ideas and post a question or 2 about what we see in the pics ...I will start with my humble garage studio.

As musicians we are always growing or just changing to search for that holy grail of tone we hear in our heads that we want to reproduce live. My 2009 Home studio /Live rig has changed alot this year as my needs changed. I play out alot more now so this is all I use for recording and live prefomances. I would rather have the DigiTech GSP1101 Guitar Modeling Preamp than the used modeler I have now but maybe next year after I save up some more gig money..

seriously though, i will post a picture when my internet is reset.
Danny - what specs are you computer eg cpu power ram etc?
Though that diagram/pic is missing my latest addition, the Epi LP Custom w/EMG's.
A: Yes the huggies will fall down if I play too loud and the box is full of computer stuff so ya it hurts alot. But the trickeling blood only helps to enhance my Gene Simmons look as I RAWKON writhing on the floor still playing my one note solo :!: OK so now post a pic of what you record with
dont forget to get us that pic hootman 8)
Shredd post what you got man...I started out with 2 pieces and it just addes up. All my stuff has this price limit thing I never spend over 300 bucks at a time so it keeps me trading stuff in to get the next thing I want... wich is actually a
KIck booty home studio like GNXJammer has! OMG dude that is so nice. ... You use your behringer headphone amp the same way I do...I thought I was cheating using it to mix my diffrent speaker combos up with it that way but I see in your diagram you do the same thing ...coolio. there great for the price only thing is i cant get it to stereo like I want in my setup so its stereo outta the back of the mbox to my 2030a's but the PA and b-300 are plugged into the behringer and mono seems to sound best...still trying to work that one out. What kind cables do I need to get a stereo signal outta the back to each cab...I would leave the single b-300 mono?
I'm sure chicks dig the bike more, but having a wife impedes any debauchery I could indulge in because of that.
Converters! 1/4\" stereo male to RCA L/R, or 1/4\" stereo male split into mono L/R 1/4\" females.
Radio Shack specials buddy. Can't live without 'em.
And since I have no website, how do I post/host a pic? Or can I send it to one of you guys to host for me??
And does anyone wanna take my Fostex MR-8 in trade for a VF160EX??
Radio Shack specials buddy. Can't live without 'em.
YES!...ON MY WAY TO RADIO SHACK...thanks jammer!
PS, I got the Minn Vikings trash can in 1975 - that puppy is going to be worth something someday IF THEY EVER WIN A FREAKIN SUPERBOWL
Yea Right my stuff aint that nice buddy the picture musta made it look better.
Your stuff is givin me G.A.S. bro :!: those fiddles rock and I am diggin on the cream hss strat too. I would give my left...dual reproduction device  for that ATOMIC amp...those are spendy bro.
you have a toneport too...there are some cool preamps on those. VSTs are so darn expensive and vital to alot of our recordings that I listed my newest one hardware or not

GNX4
KRK RP-5 Rokit
M-Audio sub
AKG phones
Ibanez GSR200FM bass
2006 SG with EMG pickups
2006 Les Paul standard LE
not pictured:
Gateway desktop pc
Compaq notebook (dedicated just for music)
OK, first pic: Ibanez bass; Jackson SSH Performer w/FloydRose; Dean el/ac., Roland Juno-60 w/sequencer. Peavey Special 130 w/Black Widow. Nady MC-8 cabs. Nady XM-300 amp, 2x Furman 31-band eq's, BBE Sonic Maximizer.
Other picture: Behringer 12-ch mixer, Fostex MR-8 digi-corder, another BBE Sonic Maximizer (for recording), Sennheiser headphones, ZOOM MRT-3B drum machine, Altec/Lansing mon's w/sub, and a P4/3GHz XP puter w/twin monitors (only room for one here).
Not pictured, of course, is my beloved GNX4 w/GNXFC, and a nice condenser mic for \"singing\"
By the way 'insideout' - that thinline's got me moist...
 Where is she gonna sleep with the bed filled up like that?
Peace,
Dobb.
Anyway, don't chix dig G/A/S???
Righto
Yes 2 screens - i'm surprised no one else yet has had this
Usually i dont have the gnx4 teetering on the desk like that.
There is some more gear in a rack like set up to the left, but i dont want to have heaps of photos.
The black stuff behind the screens is foam to absorb wayward reflections from the monitors. There is a book case \"behind\" me to diffuse the sound.
Also my guitars arent worth writing home about...

EDIT: IT SEEMS THAT THE IMAGE DOESNT WANT TO APPEAR, DESPITE BEING ON FLICKR AND THE RIGHT CODE PASTED IN HERE WHEN I POSTED
Here is the preamp and sonic maximizer (yes, the rack is on the floor and that's my foot on the side):
Here's the mixing section: Behringer SL 32/4/2, Korg D1600mkII (for submixing), and PreSonus HP4.
Here is the vibraphone (my drummer's, but part of our studio):
Here are some hand drums (my vocalist's, but for some reason he won't come to get them - must be that electronic kit he got):
From a previous setup, here is the Firepod, front and back:
Here is another picture from that same previous setup, mixer and Monster Power Center in the background:
I'd take pictures of other stuff (the trusty GNXs, various other processors, and other instruments) but it's kinda dark, and cellphone cameras kinda suck. The whole setup is kinda mobile (by necessity and not by choice), and thus it's not nicely set up in some kind of dedicated room with a dedicated desk, etc.
Very nice equipment youguys have there Illiace. I wish I had a drummer like you...
That firepod is so cool.
shred...what up with the pic bro...
The flashlight in a dimly-lit room creates the blue-ish effect. I thought it was a nice touch, plus you couldn't make out the picture without the additional lighting.
PS - this just in - I just picked up a Tascam 24 track on ebay!!!
Any of you'all interested in my Fostex MR-8, complete w/a bunch of CF cards?
New stuff REWLZ :!: Thats gonna sound PHAT :!:

Plus, chix dig lotsa buttons, right?
Ok, just so I understand your band, correctly;
Drummer plays vibraphone (not drums)...
Vocalist plays drums (not singing)...
Does guitarist play keyboards, then (not guitar)?
Nice setup, iliace!
I just have a temporary basement area setup, as I just moved to my new (not new, just upgraded) house late last year, so I haven't had a chance to work on my garage studio, yet.
DVD projector for \"virtual reality\" lifesize concert videos, to jam with!
Full stage setup consists of: PDP acoustic drum shells with Roland module/triggers, Yamaha PSR800 keyboard with built in floppy drive for midi/karaoke files, Ibanez SG300 bass guitar, ESP guitar with 2 B52 half stacks, QSC RMX2450 power amp, JBL JRX125 PA cabs, Mackie DFX12 mixer, spots/laser/fog, etc.
Since then, I've gotten a new everything, except I still have the Peavey Special, the Roland and the Dean Exotica.
So...I'll try to put the new stuff in a pile and get a new pic up. 8)
The one pic has my trusty ol' Roland Juno-60 w/sequencer; my Dean Exotica ac/el w/Fishman electronix; my latest acquistion, a Peavey Cirrus bass w/ sweepable mids mod and a HipShot drop-D tuner (mmmm...); my Ibanez RG3 hardtail w/PAF Pro's and a bone nut installed; my Peavey Grind bass; my MXL condenser mic; and of course my beloved GNX4. That's a pedal tuner nearby - my hearing is too wasted to tune by ear.
The other pic has my ZOOM drum machine, my Behringer 16-ch mixer w/FX section, my Tascam 2488, my two BBE Sonic Max'rs, and my Tosh XP Pro laptop. Out of sight is my Behringer 2031a's. I keep CZJ chained to the furnace for my discretionary amusement now.
It also shows the first - and ONLY  - dollar I was EVER paid to play music. Don't ask.
Not pictured is my trusty ol' Peavey Special 130 w/Scorpion 12\", my new bass rig (BBE preamp w/bi-amp and Sonic Max'r built in, and a DBX 266 comp'r/gate), Nady SPA850 2-ch amp powering a 2x10 and a 1x15 w/Ashdown BlueLine spkr. It even has little wheels on it so I don't have to carry it. 8)
Now, all I have to do is learn how to play. And what's up with all these little buttons?!?
i have a stack of manuals 2 feet high  ............they stay in rotation for reading material in the \"can\"
