Tasha Looks For Love
Hi all - here's my latest \"effort\". It's a cleaned-up version of music I did for a movie scene I imagined.

It sounds WAY cooler when I imagine the scene in my head, but hopefully you'll find it listenable anyway. I was inspired to do it 'cuz of the killer tunes posted by kirkbauer1, who I think is insanely talented and should be writing music for movies.
Anybody know any Julia Roberts-lookalike movie producers I could bribe to get this into a movie?

But the music fits the images perfectly, as they're very vivid in my head, but none of the movie producers I called are calling back. :?
I have listened to this several times and am trying to imagine what kind of scene you had in your mind. The only thing I can picture in my mind is Sandra Bullock riding a camel across the Sahara desert. Is that what you had in mind?
No...actually, it was a scene I imagined, where the lovely young Tasha is lonely and wants someone to love her; she's out at night looking for \"him\", only to find the scary mood of the big city makes it hard to tell between what's real and what's not. Lots of neon flashing, 'men of ill will' ogling her, that sort of thing. Looks great in my head; the music is perfect, but I don't know if it conveys anything to others who aren't seeing it...
And the trippy lick is actually a loop I had of a sitar-type thing...so I didn't actually play that part...
Meanwhile, I'm working on the music that's there in \"the next day\" scene. I don't know if that'll convey anything either, but I could make a dam good movie if only Tri-Star would call me back... 8)
Maybe I got it a little off but it went something like that! Great Little Jam!
That was really good! Loved the guitar solo playing and the sound you got. Awesome playing.
Liked the acoustic at the end as well.
Great job

I like your tunes alot man 8)
I see you have moved on to Andrea Corr from the Corrs, much nicer than Ms Hurley IMO
Yah, Hurley's out of my life since she went and married that rich gwat from India. Rumor has it she's pregnant too. It's like she never loved me
So yah, Andrea's my new face around here. She's talented, cute, single, and has a groovy accent. Gotta get her #.
Glad you liked the tune...it seems to be 'going over'. Funny thing too, 'cuz it's music I set to a scene I purely imagined. I'm currently working on music for a segue of the same scene. I dig it 'cuz I see the scenes in my head and the music fits perfectly, like good movie music should; since everyone else only has the music and still likes it, I guess it's OK!
