Recording: I would tune the guitars a bit more carefully.

Mix: possibly use light pitch correction on your vocals, especially in harmony sections; the ambience on guitar is too difference from vocals and drums, it doesn't sound natural.

Composition: it's the same chord progression for most of the song if not all of it - my preference would be for something more varied; too long for the % repetition.

    Props
Main vocal line carries a structured motif; well chosen sounds for the instrumentation, and good job of mixing them. English is my second language, and it is difficult for me to understand the lyrics (any, not just this song). That said, I will say that the lyrics are well-written.

The song has a planned structure; despite the length and repetitiveness, it also exhibits a sense of order and meaning. Its minor changes are intentional, and many mixing techniques reflect this (e.g. harmony vocal mixing).

Lead guitar is mixed very well to take place of vocals in solo sections.
  • Start Man,
I know I reviewed this before BUT: Still realy like this tune!! Catchy Song!! My favorite Part is the Solos 8) Is that you playing those?
  • Illiace,
Thanks for the thoughtfull listen to the song. I agree with all the short comings you pointed out. Thank you for the plus column as well.

    Partch,
Yes that is my limited lead work. Thanks for listening again.
  • Thats a cool tune, I think the guitars could do with some polish in places.

The solos were cool though and I like the fellas voice alot. 8)
  • My dear stratman, my only critique is that you used 2 \"L's\" in spelling Ilia's name, and he will now probably procede to beating you full of bumps

I thought is sounded good, and was recorded very well. Agree that the solos were cool. I agree with some of the critiques from others, so I won't beat them to death. Overall, very good job 8)
