  • Very Nice. The lyrics strike a cord with me for sure. I love the sound of you Ovation. :) 8)
  • Hey Partch,

Yea I liked it, I like the chord progressions and the fact that you didn't just strum the guitar, I hate strummers  .

Its a good tune, doesn't sound like it needs drums or anything

Honestly it sounded real good 8) 8)
  • Love the sound of your guitar Partch and not a bad voice either. 8)

    Keep em coming :D
  • :D Right on Partch! That acoustic sounds great and I really dig the whole vocal vibe you got goin on. Nice post 8)
  • Yeah Partch. I'm with ODB !
Great vibe and delicious tone on the ovation.
Sounded like you were sitting next to me.
    Nice !
  • Partch,
Don't be afraid of the mic bro your voice sounded fine. I found myself straining to hear your words. I would have liked the vocals to be just a tad stronger in the mix. The Ovation sounds fine. Really nice tone.

Yeah hey Strat Man I'm with you on that Vocals. I need to get realy tight on what I'm singing & maybe even try to get some Harmony in there. I was just not compfortable in many spots in this song & it showed  I will deffinetly retake the Vocals when I'm tighter on the Melody Line. I'm realy pleased though were this song is in 3 hours of work beyond writting down the Lyrics
  • Greg- thank's Buddy glad you liked the song & could actually even relate to the song, that it could actually touch your heart. It feels like a prayer to me just alot of feeling & emotion for me in this one.

Slash- Hey buddy I appreciate your listen & thoughts bro!! There may actually be 2 versions of this song, Acoustic no Drums etc.. & full production with Bass, Drums, Electric :D

Danny & Blackstrat- Thanks guys & comming from you Danny I appreciate that  Your such a great singer & I think when this song is tight It will sound cool vocaly.

John- Yeah I just love the Tone & playability of this Ovation!! Whorth every penny I spent on it Which was an overwhelming blessing to get an all but Brand new $1000 guitar for $700  Man God is soooooooo good to me I'm humbled & thankfull I'm so unwhorthy but he blesses in spite of it all 8)
  • Partch Man!!! Sorry I'm a little late to the party  . Excellent work my friend!! Really nice clean recording, voice and guit fiddle sounded good, a well written tune! Excellent all around 8) 8) 8)
  • good tune partch... I really like the way the vocals and the guitars work together. And it's a real good vocal melody. Like the others said... mix the vocals a little louder, you have a great voice, let everyone hear it!
    :D

  • Thank's Rob & Mike I realy appreciate the feedback on this tune!! Glad you all liked it!! I realy like this one as well, I think the biggest problem with vocals is more a confidence & just knowing the Melody realy well I need to work on the Vocals & when there tight I doubt they'll have to be pushed up to pop out of the mix? We'll see. Thanks again guys
  • Nice work, Partch. It sounds like it could really be a good song. Like the others have stated, I was hard pressed to hear the vocals. Maybe I'm just getting too old.... Still, I think bringing the vocals to the front would really finish this song off right. You have a good voice, so crank it up Partch. If you don't care for your latest vocal attempt, or you screw up in a spot, just punch in/out the bad spot or just redo the vocal track. The great thing about our equipment is that we get unlimited \"do-overs\" until we are happy with the results. You got it in you, let it out. Best wishes.
