Ditto. I had such a great time tonight. I was outplayed fair and square. Everybody look out for Jim Marshall. He's goin all the way. He didn't make a single mistake. Been playin for twenty years straight and is in a professional Hendrix tribute band. He did the teeth, which completely slayed everyone. And it wasn't just a gimmick he was spittin out some strong melodies in the process. But hot damn it was good night. Pat Martin from the local rock station was a judge, another accomplished musician whose name I can't remember except for Jason, and FRANK HANNON of Tesla!!! Frank started the show off with a couple of tunes and it was just an all around good night. The crowd was jumpin, the players were strong, and an overall feeling of positive energy was dominating. :ROCKON:
I wouldn't have wanted to be one of the judges either except that it was clear after Jim got done that it was his show tonight.
[EDIT]My consolation prize was that the judges all said they got a vintage Clapton vibe from me. Considering the first blues I ever heard was E.C. Was Here, I feel amazingly good after having played for five years and then putting guitar down for fifteen years and starting again just barely four months ago. I look forward to getting my exprience back up and coming back next year.[/EDIT]
