Hello

This is my first recording with the GNX4 and is still a work in progress the guitars have some flaws but i will re-record them when i have the whole song completed.

I started recording on cubase but i got a lot of latency so this was recorded with PTP and is a great program but i´m very used to the cubase features, i read somewhere in this forum that the GNX4 can be used as a sound card but i haven´t found they way to do it, can someone help me on this, or which sound card would you recommend me?

The equalization it´s probably not so good because i´ve been recording with some cheap headphones. :-/ but anyway i would appreciate your critics and comments about the song.

I didn't realize it was gonna get so heavy - the riffs are killer! I totally loved it. Where can I buy the CD?

Oh Yeah that like rocked 8) Good Jam there bro!! I use the GNX4 as my soundcard. I asume if you have protracks loaded, then you must have also loaded the drivers as well? So in PTP in think Audio Options Menu Select the GNX4 for everything in those menus not your computors sound card. I think that's how it's done? Anyhow hope you get it figured out I know the GNX4 blows my stock card away!! Like you said there was soooooooooo much Latency

I liked this post. It eased you in and then slapped you around. Could maybe use some eq work. Once everything got going the guitars really did not stand out. It was like all everything was fighting for the same space. Still it was nice and heavy. I have never had good luck trying to mix with head set. I use them though, but then also listen through speakers, then burn to cd and listen through house stereo and then take it to the car to listen, then come back inside and say ok now what. Have fun and I'll be looking for more of your posts.

Thanks man i have Pro Tracks Plus working fine with no latency at all, Sorry i didn´t explain very well on my previous post. :P I have the GNX4 in the input/output audio settings on PTP just like the manual says, but the problem comes when i try to do the same in cubase i can set the GNX4 as the input device but the output won´t work with the GNX4, so i must use my crappy sound card as the output and that's what i thinka that gets the latency. do i need some special drivers to use the GNX4 with cubase? or should i get a dedicated sound card?

i guess you mean the part with the double bass drum right? do you think that it's too saturated, maybe i should make more different riffs for both guitars?
