I was 12 years old when the Beatles fisrt came to the USA.
I remember watching their first performance on the
ED SULLIVAN SHOW on our Phillips black and white TV, with my family.
I was an immediate fan...my Dad was horrified by this \"Jungle Music.\" :lol:

    Loved that page! I really never heard of The Beatles until I was 11 and saw \"Hard Days Night\" on tv and I instantly became a huge fan. The Beatles are the only band I keep going back to on a whole different thing each time. I've probably went on about 8 different Beatle trips so far and after checkin out that page I'm going on trip #9. Hairs just raised on my arms and goosebumps! #9 - #9 - #9

    I remember their second appearence on Ed Sullivan, '68 (?) when they had really let their hair grow out, I belive they did Hey Jude. My dad's response was similar to what Manitou said about his father's response, but I was hooked, still am, always will be.

    Of course now I am my father and my 14 year old daughter is me back then. She tries to tell me how great some screamo band is, and I just cringe and long for Hey Bulldog.
