Sonar 6 Producer Edition - Session Drummer Question

I just got sonar 6 producer edition and can't get the session drummer 2 to work? They don't have nothing about it in the help and the cakewalk site is down. I also got EZ Dtummer a while back and lost the thing my cd came in and can't get the authorization code becuase of it, so it won't open up in sonar - I just want to start jammin with some good drums and I've been messin with this stuff all day and I'm getting really frustrated - I just want to JAM!!!!! The sonar 6 producer edition is just the 300MB version but fully working.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

  • I was just on the Cakewalk site. It is working fine. I'd recommend you look through the Forums there. I did see one post about session drummer only being triggered by the lower end of the keyboard.

  • If it was me, I wouldn't give up on EZDrummer just yet. If you already have it installed on your computer, but in a different host, I think you just need to copy the EZD folder into the VST folder within Cakewalk. Also, they allow you to register it on up to 3 PC's, so when you log on to Toontrack registration page, it should display current PC's that you have it on, along with serial #. That's all the info you need to get a new authorization code. I know, they make it a pain, but it's worth it! EZD rocks!!!! 8)
