On the TerraTec forum, Godin tops the list for MIDI ready guitars. I'm looking very seriously at the AXON AX 100 and MKII with my present electric guitars. It requires piezo or hexiphonic pickups. http://producerde.terratec.net/axonf/viewtopic.php?t=520&highlight=godin One member there uses a GNX3000.
Synthax, here in Boardman, OH is the USA distributer of TerraTec(formerly Blue Chip) AXON AX 100 MKII with many retailers selling them.
I have the LGX-SA. It's the best midi tracking guitar I've ever used. I've had two Brian Moore's. There was nothing wrong with them, but the Godin, with the ebony fretboard, I think is a little better. McLaughlin has used the XTSA.
With Roland VG gear, I prefer a Roland GK equipped guitar, as it seem that those tones were developed using the GK, and they sound more realistic when played with a GK.
I decided to spring the $40 for the Fat B@stard. Well see if it improves sustain as claimed.
