  • Just received my e-mail from them; on my way right now to get two!
  • Is this a good amp for use with the GNX4? I do not own a GNX4 yet, but am saving for one. I have a Crate GT1200H, which has an effects loop. I also have a tube amp, a Sundown 50 watt head with 4x12 cabinet. This amp also has an effect loop for each of two channels. I understand from reading the posts that best option is to run direct into a PA system to take advantage of the amp modeling. This is not a realistic option for me. I occassinoally jam with friends, and would probably spend most of the time playing through headphones.
  • these are great for simple backup amps. We just had another guitarist fry his amp on stage last night. he had no backup. I always carry these around to shows when I run sound, or play live myself. In this case, we let this guitarist use the PB, and he was thrilled ! The PB so far, has saved 9 shows! They are so small and easy to carry around.. no guitarist should be without one if at least for no other reason.. a great backup!

In my opinion these are great with the GNX4. I would much rather go in the front of this amp than the back EFX loop!! It seems to warm up my tone using it this way!! As well as taking the XLR balanced of the block instead of the XLR's of the GNX4 to get into the house PA. Again the Tone is just warmer not as trebely, shrill. I use this to drive a full ranged monitor pa speaker equiped with Modeling 12 sub. I love my setup!! I doubt you would not love yours as well regardless of how you use your Block!!

    God Bless!!
