haven't had much time to mess around on the gnx lately. this is a really ruff version of a traditional Laoasian song w/ some added stuff at the end. it's just a short demo. enjoy something different. critique away.

btw lavong means 'dance.'

That's a really beautiful composition. The acoustic guitar came out really clear. Are you planning to do more with this? Adding some changes to the GNX drums could really give this tune a boost. JMHO.

Cool man!! I'm not a Dancer but it had me almost wanting to kick it up on this tune!! Great playing your post's have got better & I like it!! Keep them comming!! You are very talented!! I agree though the GNX drums At least for much more than practice just don't cut it!! Hence I'm looking at a program VST Plugin called Jamstix So far so good I like what I see!! I'll be posting an Original as soon as I can that uses Jamstix in free jam mode which means me none drummer did absolutely nothing but set up & play, it supplied the drums. Anyhow check it out it has a demo version that's what I'm using, they have a forum alot like this with great support. Anyhow I would be interested to see what you think of my song then esecially the drums.

thx for the warm comments even though there were many mistakes/breaks in the lead. i was hesitant to up the track because i didn't know how some of you would react to traditional world music...LOL. i don't play a lot of these but there are a lot of cool world music out there i try to incorporate into my own music.
