Help needed to transfer drum tracks to cf card.

I Created a drum track in Pro Tracks, and would like to transfer it to my
cf card so I could play to it without being hooked up to the pc.

What is the best way to do this, and how?

Covert to midi? Convert to mp3? Record drum track as an mp3?

thanks for the help.

  • I assume you have the Drums file as Midi.

Be sure the CF Storage button is ON.

When saving to the GNX CF Card, be sure to Save the file as
\"MIDI FORMAT 0\". This way the GNX4 can then interpret the midi and play
the file in the GNX Drummer.

Once you have the File saved, turn CF Storage button off to allow the GNX4 transport player and drum mach functions.

You could also save as MP3, but the midi files are much much smaller and you can alter the sounds via the GNX drum machine kit types.
  • when I try to save the drum track as \"MIDI Format 0\" in Pro Tracks, I get a message stating that it can not
be stored in standard MIDI because it
uses one or more drum maps. I don't even know what a drum map is.

Right now the file is saved as Normal (.cwp)
