Abide In Me Final
Hey All,
Thanks for your patience!! & all your suggestions!! I've grown so much thru this project. My first Original. I know so much more now about Recording & Mixing!! Again thanks. This has a totaly new mix. All Instuments were dropped about 3dB. Vocals were completely done over, realy concentrating on unciation. I tried very hard to make my voice be heard and heard understandably. I even added some ambiance to the overall mix. For anyone that still has trouble understanding the words. I posted the Lyrics in the last thread AIM2 Remix. Honestly guys comments criticisim all welcome. I'm very happy with this now!! What do you all think??
God Bless All!!!
& thanks for your feedback!!

God Bless You Partch,

Some advice though.
I think you should transpose it a couple of keys lower, your singing outside your vocal range and I think you'd sound much better if it was a bit lower. As it is now it sounds your struggling to get the higher notes.
I would also layer one or two guitar tracks on it, raise the mids to give it more presence and fullness.
Keep up the good work!
Vocals on the mix came out pretty darn good..

Fruitloop- I appreciate your honesty!! I also value your opinion. Yes there are a few High spots for me vocally. Maybee some day I will try it in a lower Key. But for now it stays G. My favorite Key by the way.
Tal- Thanks man!! yeah I think this mix turned out pretty darn good!! Vocals & all. I had this playing on my home stereo Bose speakers nice pioneer Surround Amplifier I must say it sounds tons better on a good system!! I was jamming it and just awsome to know WOW that's me!! 4 years ago I could not spell Musician?? Now I is one!! Praise The Lord!!!!!!
God Bless Fellows!!

I can under stand the words
good job partch
now when your reading your bible you may hear songs popping right off the page---roll with em
god bless bro
Hey thanks bro!! Yeah I'm quite pleased with this now. The biggest part of my original isue with the vocals not being hot enough was the routing of the mic signal was wrong. Now it is mic FX and I have all the level etc.. I need so much easier to sing inteligably, and have the lyrics come thru the mix this way!! Hey Paul I have a Praise & Worship song already, Lyrics only at this point. It's called Lord Bring Revival and I have full intentions of this one to be used in worship service. (when its done)
God Bless!!

The song is a pleasure to listen to, so I don't mind the listens.
I thought you would like this version better!! I mean you can pretty much understand every Word. I will figure this EQ thing out!! I know my vocals need treble. Anyhow thanks for listening to this song & I'm glad you like it!! I've found it to be very catchey the more you listen to it!! I like the Key as well G is my favorite Key to play in!!
God Bless you AC!!
