  • macman,
Cool!!! I liked the Idea of you covering other things as well!!! Do you write originals?? That would be awsome to hear from you sometime!! I bet you would do a killer job at putting a song together!! Your deffinetly a talented Musician!!! As far as the cover not bad!! Metallica at one time was my favorite band. I had all there stuff up to the Black Album. As for any Metallica beyond that?? Anyhow your not James or Kirk BUT: darn good job!! I like how you put your own style into it as well!!! My only Gripe and not a huge one is the REVERB I don't know what you used but it just seems to big for my taste, and makes certain things harder to hear they sound like there kind of out there instaed of bam right there. Anyhow great Job!! Keep the cool tunes flowing!!!

    God Bless macman!!!

  • yep i agree the reverb kills the rhythm guitars, I did not notice at time, recording is always a learning process, i am still v much learning

I am gonna try an original soon
  • macman,

Yea the reverb is a little much, but that aside the vocals were good and I love your take on the outro. 8)

Just need to remix it me thinks. :)
  • thx slash, that outro is a nice chord progression to solo over
  • Hey there Macman! Good job! I hope you take this a compliment - to me it sounded like Roger Waters joined Metallica and went on a stadium tour 8) The reverb definitely makes it sound like it's off in the distance, but still sounds cool! That's a tough tune to cover, and you did it very well!
