have you hooked your gnx to the puter/installed the software that goes with your gnx?

thats the first step

have you read the manuel?

first you open up the patch you want to download (in xedit) , then tweek it to your tastes, then you have to save it by pressing store on the gnx.(page 58 )

do u have to keep uploading your changed to the gnx while tweaking through x-edit?

yes --when you have a patch on xedit and you've tweeked it to your liking---then you save and move on.
or you download and save if it sounds good already
at this point it's a good idea to save the patch to your hard drive as aback up

Sorry mate, I haven't logged in for quite some time.
Been very busy with work and other things.

Yep it was indeed drmikes patch that I used for Blue Dream. An excellent rendition of satch's tone. Didn't require much tweaking. The only reason I tweaked was due to my guitar's lack of sustain and harmonics. I boosted the Tubescreamer's gain to try and squeeze out more dynamics.
