  • Hey shando, sounds catchy, vocals were a bit low but ur probably like me when I get close to a mic I clam up  Keep developing the song it sounds good and has a nice bluesy riff! 8)
  • Very catchy riff indeed. One thing I did notice,is it sounds like your vocal timing is fighting with your FX timing on the vocal track. Is that a bit of chorus FX on your voice?Things I would try, recording the vocals with just a bit of verb,or dial in the FX speed and/or MOD MIX level.Other than that, sounds good.Keep it up!Hope to here more :)
  • dude I'm loving the rythum guitar behind that riff---it totally cool and good job on singin
ya man no bull I loved it.
  • Hi again dudes,

Thanks first for listening and second for taking the time to comment etc. The vocals have been recorded with a little bit of reverb and a tiny bit of delay.

The chorus sound comes from recording the lyrics twice and one set being very slightly out of phase with the other.

When recording vocals I loop the tune and record once then let it continue to record whilst looping and record them a second time. The end result is that it sounds more in tune as one recording is in tune where the first is slightly out and vice versa.

Yeah, I still can't get used to hearing my own warbling so tend to mix them lower in gain than they probably should, that and wanting to hear the actual tune. Still, as embarrassed as I get I am happy that it's all completely original.

Thanks again for the input guys, greatly appreciated.

  • shando,
Nice Job!!! Catchy little tune!!! That riff is still there in my head. Makes me feel like picking my guitar up and picking that part up. I'm beat though long day yesterday & today so I think the old guitar will stay in the case for tonight anyhow. Once again I liked it!! And I can only Pray my first ever Original Abide In Me comes out half as good when I get to Recording, mixing that Song!! still kind of rough idea but none the less, something to work with. Keep up the good work!!

    God Bless You!!!
