3 Favorite Guitar Videos...Post your 3 HERE!!!!
With the proliferation of Youtube, and so many styles of players on the board, Thought it would be interesting for everyone to post their top 3 vids, so that fellow players can look at some of the guys they might be missing, and can learn from others..
Let's try to keep it to your THREE favorite otherwise this thread will just fill up with links that nobody will have time to look at...
Personally I could fill up 100. There's just so many great players out there. But these 3 I go back to again and again..
Scott Henderson:
There maybe a guy that's played a strat better but it sure don't take long to call the roll in the classroom..

That Joe Pass makes me think of this one:
Definitely one of my favorites.
I don't think I've ever heard anybody say was one of the better looking guys on the planet but I just love that slide work..
Joe Pass has always been one of my favorites..
Was gonna post some Chet but I figured Mike B would take care of that great player.. 8) .
Segovia, Herb Ellis, Charlie Byrd, Herb Ellis, SRV, Hendrix, Freddie King, Julian Bream, John Williams, Tal Farlow, Wes Montgomery, Barney Kessel
Damn...
See why I'm stopping at 3...
Illia:
Tucker can play the crap out of that L5..
Man that's cool...
Been jonsn' for one a long time..
Okay:
Who's gonna post the next 3???
there's just too many others to name
oh except this guy robin trower
see if anyone has the concentration and ability as these guys!
Petrucci can do most anything, but he's more fun to watch syncing with the group.

Just tooooo much singin' and not enough geeeetar playn' for my tastes..
Here is one for me. Lincoln Brewster Amazing Grace Love his version of that!!!
God Bless!!!
Partch
Never heard of Lincoln Brewster..
Great playn' with a dreamlike quality to it.. 8)
Electro acoustic instrumental
And again
And Again
This one is special, I love the instrumental at the end.
I just love Nuno 8)
I'm with you slash..
Like the last one the best
Very cool.. 8)
Here is another. Rex Carol Awsome guitarist!! IMOP Could not find any of his solos?? He normally did one on each Album, just awsome stuff, almost heavy metal, with clasical feels to some of his Solo Songs. This is called good enough Showcases him some He has a pretty cool solo in this song!! And the message?? Well it's good enough for me!!!!!!
God Bless!!!
Partch
Just wish the singer would let him..
His small solo part is awesome..
The rest of the time he sounds like an animal straing on his leash wating for the singer to finish so he can go on a rampage..
Very cool.. 8)
NOW...here's a guy Tal turned me on to some time ago...a little wet behind the ears--but what technique!

I remember that one..
Awesome playning..
haven't heard of him and like you can't seem to find any vids for him..
Tal, I'm posting this one but three of my all time favorites are in this, although one was not known much for picking.
keep on pickin
Mike B
Mike definitely a winner in my book...
Carl, Eric, and Johnny... 8)
DREGE RULE and STEVE MORSE kicks purple elephant.. 8) .
Good one buddy..
For me, Doyle Dykes , Phil Keaggy both rule. Dykes is so accurate and melodic. I wish that I had persevered with the thumb claw picking style. I also love the early Keaggy stuff after he left Glass Harp. He can really rip on the electric, but good stuff is hard to find.
Haven’t seen Nuno Bettencourt before, I wonder if he gets his hair caught in the fretts…
