I gotta tell ya, although it's not my taste, I was seriously toe tappin'!
Impressive right hand and I'm totally gonna steal the headstock slide guit emulation licks 8) 8) 8)
Awsome!!! I like that bending (tremlo) action he kept doing at the headstock. Also the way he tuned at the beginning. He is obviously very compfortable playing, he just seemed so relaxed and fluent. Someday in God's timming maybee I'll play that well.
I don't think i'll ever get that good specially with doing 2 jobs i have only 1 full day to myself to play and man i make the best of it.. hooked up my Tak to the good old chorus and metal zone last night hahah soo much fun
tal has he put out cd's of instrumental stuff like in that video?? or are there mp3's do dl of them??
Yep to all the above...
Here's Doyles site... http://www.doyledykes.com/

He is a phenominal player... 8)
I 'm glad y'all liked it. Doyle is awsome, he came through Garland about 6 years ago for a Taylor guitar demonstration at Larry Moran Music, my twelve year old daughter, at the the time, and I went just to check out this \"fingerstyle guitarist\".
I have been a huge fan since. Tal thanks for posting his web address.
Parch, since you play with a praise band like me, you'll be happy to know Doyle has a very strong faith and he spoke openly about it during his demonstration. He played a jaw dropping version of \"How Great Thou Art\".
