Where does one get these Steve Morse albums???????

Inexplicably, Ive been playing guitar for 20 years but never discovered Steve Morse until recently. Even though I still love them, theres only so much Vai and Petrucci one can listen to – and Morse has really breathed some life into my passion for music.

However, heres my problem: Ive bought stuff like Stressfest, Split Decision, Major Impact, etc, but have been unable to get his older stuff like High Tension Wires, Southern Steel, etc. They don’t have it on Amazon, not in the record stores, cant buy it on Steves website for some reason – WHERE THE HELL CAN I FIND THESE ALBUMS!!!!?????

You have to go to the download section. There's 5 full albums available (all great by the way). Not much to chose from if you want to buy a hard copy of the CD.

if your into morse and vai and such have you tryed listening to marty friedman or even planet x or Derek Sherinian's solo stuff all very amazing... alot of the Derek Sherinian stuff has featured artists just like vai has done in the past my big fav is that he has the underdog Zakk Wylde on a bunch of songs very impressed zakk is soo under rated in my opinion he is amazing... can't wait to get my emg pickups :P

I think you're right about Zakk Wylde. IMHO, being the guitarist for Ozzy is a very limited postion. I'm surprised he stayed as long as he has. When you listen to his contribution the the \"Guitars that rule the world\" album, Zakk can flat out play the ($^*$* out of a guitar.

Fav Steve is on The Dixie Dreggs album \"Industry Standard\" you cant go wrong with this one guys ...\"Blood suckin leaches\" one of my favorite tune on the disc. Just my 2 cents . I saw him at a guitar seminar :twisted: :twisted: he was truley god like (with a little \"g\" of course)

if your a zakk fan you should try to listen to the mafia album it's amazing... especially the song in this river (aka tribute to Dime)
and man have you heard his zakk wylde solo album and pride an glory you should hear him on an acoustic..... another thing that makes him soo good in my eyes is his piano playing he wrote the piano part for dreamer for ozzy as well as alot of songs of bls, pride and glory and his solo album he is my fav guitarist of all time... i'm thinkin bout buyin the bullseye camo custom les paul 4k to buy

Steve Morse is fantastic. He was guitarist for all the Dregs albums. Or Dixie Dregs as they were first called. I have many of them on LP. Iam a lover of vinyl. If it was recorded analog I try to get the LP. The Dregs never sold so well and I have no clue how much made it to CD.

I should have said in my post above that I collect and sell vinyl. I will see if I have any doubles(Ido not think so) and post again if I do. usally ebay has even hard to get titles though it can be costly.Probably not for Dixie Dregs-Dregs and early Morse solo stuff.
