Andy Timmons-like patch

Hi Guys!

Has anybody tried to reproduce Andy Timmons's sound with the GNX3000?

It is full-on rock sound, but with the volume controll (on the guitar) rolled back, it is a nice, crunchy, almost SRV-like neck sound...

Any idea how to make on the GNX3K?

Try various high-gain amp models. Use a low input gain setting and a higher amp volume setting to achieve the dynamic response. Don't use much compression, if any at all. Use a stompbox to thicken up leads.

To get a fuller sound, use a Chorus modulation. Use a high DEPTH setting (50-99), and low speed (1-10). Set MOD MIX somewhere between 15-30, depending on what you're going for. Use a low PREDELAY (like 0) for leads, and a bit higher for rhythms to put it more in the background.

wow thanks for the tips.. will try..i've tried to imitate his sound using my GNX3k for almost a month, still havent got it yet..
