i've been reading the forum for a few months and have a couple of questions - i'll try to not ask anything that i should rtm for.
1.does anyone know of a converter for gnx3000 - gnx4 patches? i tried to download one that i found on thru the gnx4.org site, but i can't get it to open.
2.has anyone been able to partition a cf card or figured out a way to store and access multiple libraries on one?
3.is there any way to drag and drop presets into a library for building libraries quickly?
any responses would be greatly appreciated.

1. there seems to be one that converts GNX4 to GNX3000 only if the original patch used factory Amps/Cabs. I have not tried it
2. Not applicable for GNX3000. I dont have any idea on GNX4

1. I think you have THE preset converter....GeNetX Preset Converter v.2.02.
It's not working for you? Have you clicked on the button to the right of the source file box?? the button has 3 dots. That will open your preset folder.
Which brings me to question 3. I download any presets I want to my desktop and yes...I just drag them to my preset folder. From there I can access the folder with my converter or my Xedit. Be sure you download the latest version of Xedit.
The guys at the DT tech support helped me when I first started. If you seem to still run into trouble...they will get you squared away proper.
question 2. I don't know.

I personally don't have much to offer...but I try, and in doing so...I am developing freindships...which is the best part.
Much goes on behind the scene through PM's and people here are really great. I think when you get actively involved...doors open, and much more can come your way.
manitou, what presets folder are you referring to? just one that you set up, or is it the presets.tbl on the cf card? i'm wondering if there's any way to just build a library by dragging and dropping rather than having to open and save every preset everytime. such as if i have one library for one particular set but then want to rearrange a certain preset order for another set but using some of the same presets and/or maybe adding new ones as well.
also i'm using the gnx4 with x edit 1.3 which i downloaded from mike's site and i'm trying to grab some 3k patches and convert them to gnx4. when i open the converter and try to select the 3k patch i can't see it. is it because the name has 3k in it instead of gnx4 so therefore it can't recognize it? do i need to install the software for the 3k in order to see those patches and convert them?

I was also hoping you might get some feed back ...but everyone seems preoccupied lately. I'll PM you a number of a Digitech tech to call...who is my go to guy. He'll get you set up. When I get home in a few days...I'll check in with you...some of what you are trying to do...I'd like to know about as well.
