Software sampling question
Does anyone know where I can get a simple and free program to use with PTP so I can use wave drum loop samples with midi controllers? Maybe I dont know how to describe it correctly but it took forever with the guys at Guitar Center to understand what I was talking about. They eventually showed me Battery 2. That was 200 bucks. Not what I'm looking for. Just want to use my drum machine to trigger some single hit samples for my wave drum loops. Does this make any sense?

I haven't tried any and you might need to wrap them in like a vst, not sure.
