new here and i got a bit of a problem...

hi. im new here and i was wondering if there is a way to take projects that u have recorded in protracks and convert it so it can be played in lets say windows media or other media players?
i know the answer is probably in the manual but if some could just tell me i think it would be a bit easier... thanks

    Sorry. Just being a pest. Most of us don't - or don't like - answering ?'s to which the answer is in the manual (hence the acronym \"RTM\".)

    I don't use PTP - too lazy and my computer sucks - but I suspect the way to do it is save the project as a stereo MP3 file, and export to your computer or device. Guys?

  • OK, don't listen to this crazy man :lol: When using PTP, refer to the online help. The help files are not nearly as overwhelming as something like Sonar's, and provide guidance for most of the functionality.

    Select all times on all tracks that you want in a WM-friendly format. To export the entire song, hold Ctrl and press A (Ctrl+A). Go to File/Export/Audio, and select something like .WAV or . WMA for the file format. Select \"Entire Mix\" and your master sound device (GNX presumably) as your source.
